(a) The Finance Committee shall be composed of not less than three members, one of whom shall be the Treasurer.
(b) The Finance Committee shall, with information from the Band Director regarding funding needs, prepare an annual budget for the period June 1 to May 31 and present to the membership for approval no later than the last Booster meeting of the academic year.
(c) The Finance Committee shall receive all requests for expenditures of Booster funds and, after due consideration, shall approve or disapprove such requests.
The following procedures will be followed:
- On or before March 1 of each year, the Band Director will provide the Finance Committee with information regarding funding needs for the period June 1 to May 31.
- The Band Director and School Administration will determine the Marching Band fee.
(d) The Finance Committee shall report to the Executive Board on the status of funds and of the need to raise additional funds.
(e) The Finance Committee shall be responsible for the auditing of the Treasurer’s records annually.
(f) The Finance Committee is responsible for setting a financial policy for the organization.
(a) The Concessions Committee shall be composed of not less than three members, one of whom shall be a member of the Executive Board, and shall be responsible for the purchase of all supplies needed for the concession booths.
(b) The Concessions Committee shall be responsible for keeping an inventory of supplies on hand for the concession stands and for ordering additional supplies as needed.
(c) The Concessions Committee shall be responsible for the condition of the concession stands and shall report to the Executive Board any need for repairs.
(a) The Events Committee shall be responsible for events such as the annual marching festival, concerts, fair cotton candy booth, banquet, and any other events in which the band participates.
(b) The Chair of the Events Committee shall appoint such subcommittees as are needed to carry out the plans as approved by the Booster membership.
The Publicity Committee shall prepare publicity releases as are appropriate during the school year, and shall work with the Events Committee to prepare publicity for all band activities.
The Nomination Committee shall prepare a slate of officers to be presented to the Booster membership at the April meeting and voted on at the May meeting, and shall fill such vacancies as may occur in offices during the year.
